A late Victorian original gilt cast metal standup 11" desk or table thermometer complete with a cherub and fancy swing-out foot. It has a loop for hanging on a wall and the original mercury thermometer is intact and working fine. It is SIGNED B&H 3590 on the back, and it is in very good condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor gilding loss and the loss of some of the silvering on the dial.
