This handle of this turn-of-the-century walking stick has the figure of a Madonna carved from an unusually large piece of ivory. The handle measures 14-1/4 x 1-2/4 inches and tops an ebony shaft and an ivory tip. Overall length is 36 inches.

This is a really great frog themed walking stick. This stick is dated 1894 with a silver collar and red glass eyes. This stick also has an ebony shaft and a metal ferrule. Japanese silver mascot cane-Ca. 1890-Sizeable silver knob chased and engraved in high relief and very fine detail with an encircling dragon on the side and a round shield with traditional Fu calligraphy inscriptions conveying wishes of good luck and long life on the top. Rosewood shaft. Size; Handle measures 3 ¼” x 1 ¼”, Overall height of cane 36 1/4 inches. Excellent condition.

Circa. 1900- Delicately carved handle, carved as a Pinocchio-type head with extremely long wood nose, metal collar, exotic ribbed wood shaft with brass ferrule to tip. This is a lovely ivory rabbit walking stick. He has brown glass eyes and a gold plate collar. Very nice carving detail on his face with the fur and whiskers. Antique, 18th century, Polish nobleman walking cane "Obuszek" with steelhead in the form of a war hammer "Nadziak," composed of a hand forged, faceted steel head with a down-curved, tapered, curved rear fluke and a three-stage hammer, with a rounded face, separately made tubular steel socket, fused to the head.

It is mounted on its original hardwood haft of a circular section, pierced with a hole for suspension cord at the top, and a copper eyelet on one site...
