These are the only full-plate, Steinway 'D's built with the gorgeous, heavily carved, serpentine legs, carved case, and ornate music rack...

This tremendous 43 inch tall mantle clock in the French Louis XIV style, with elaborate ormolu decoration, dates from the nineteenth century and was produced for and retailed by Tiffany & Co. The face is decorated with enameled porcelain numbers, surmounted by a Greek mask. The original key and sunburst style pendulum are present. There is a small hole in the glass in the lower left corner. Male figures form the four legs and a female goddess on horseback decorates the lower center...

14 Keys? Only 13 notes! We finally figured out the #14 could be a water key. Engraved "E.G.Wright Boston" on the upper plaque, and "Wm.S.Wheaton, New York" on the lower.Included are many pigtails and lead pipe extensions and adapters and original music clip. Also included is a wooden form that protects the bell section from serious injury. The case may or may not be original.
S shaped Alto Horn patented by L. Schreiber around1 1875. Good condition except for strings. Length 119 inches, tip of bell to bottom. Bell is 8 inches. Original MP.

A RARE Whitely, 5 key Bassoon, possibly the only one on record. Mark on boot shows "(Eagle under curved line) (?) Whitley, Utica". Of the five keys, four are working and one is absent except for pin mount. Wood shows use, but no cracks. Wing has narrow diagonal sliver missing and does not effect finger holes. No bocal. Shipped in a non-fitting case.

This red japanned tallcase clock in the chinoiserie fashion dates from the mid to late eighteenth century, and has a movement attributed to the London clock maker, William Jackson. Movement resides behind glass and may be accessed from sides and rear, and the mechanism was not secured snugly against the front face of the cabinet at time of photography. Dial above the face carries the Latin phrase "Tempus Fugit" (time flies). Full condition report available upon request.
