The base of this early Victorian sewing reel stand and pincushion is veneered with a geometric pattern and the scalloped edge features contrasting light and dark timber. It stands 160mm high, the width of the base is 175mm, it rests on three round brass feet and the reel pins are brass. The base has warped, but because of the three feet it it still stable. It has retained its original patina but has lost a piece of veneer, as can be seen in the photos. C1840.

This unwrapped tonic bottle measures about 3.5 inches and like many patent medicines claims to treat more than one condition. If you need a blood and nerve or anemia remedy, this is it.
The label is complete, a bit faded in one area (red printed portion) but otherwise sports great lithography.

Offered is a terrific large Eli Lilly circa 1910 - 1920s Diamond Antiseptic pharmacy poison bottles. The taller corked example measures about 5 inches high and are the more scarce as compared to the 3.5 inch example.
