A large-size Native American pottery olla from Acoma pueblo, Zuni tribe, New Mexico. The pot is hand-coiled and shard fired and painted in red and black on white with encircling bands of stylized figures of deer and roadrunners. Circa 1910-1915. Southern Cheyenne Rare Dispatch Case. Circa 1880-1890. Sinew sewn, yellow orchre pigment, tin cones suspensions, hide soft and supple. No apparent bead loss. The reverse hide, showing drawings of that were never finished, may have been recycled from an earlier southern plains piece. Measures 10 1/2" by 9 1/4" without suspensions; and 14" at the longest end suspensions.

This is a very rare trans Paleo to early Archaic point dating to 10,500-9000 B.P. This is a large size arrow point that has long tip to base convex turning parallel sided blade edges that transition into drooping basal auricles. The basal edge is concave and the haft is ground.
