This is a fine example of the San Patrice, Hope Variety, early Archaic or transitional Paleo point dating to around 8000BC. It was found in Jasper County, Texas. It is made from translucent fossilized palmwood. It is fluted on both sides. It is 1/1/2" long and the base is ground. The edges are serrated. A large and heavy carving in emerald of an Eagle Fetish, Native American, probably Zuni, Navaho tribe and 20th. century.

The carving is cut and polished in one emerald stone and depicts the head of a Native tribes leader, carved on both sides of the stone. The stone is transperant light blue-green and very beautiful.

Zuni fetishes are small carvings made from primarily stone but also shell, fossils, and other materials by the Zuni people...

Large and nice! 9 3/8" long stylized bone hairpin in excellent condition. Sharp tip. Grooved for suspension. Translucent and polished. Recovered at Fox Fields Mason County, Ky. From the collection of Mike Perla.

Bird-shaped with a function of a flute or ocarina once and also a vessel. In ceramic with redish glaze and decorated with incised lines.

Size: 11 cm. long and 10 cm. tall.

Antique, circa 1900 AD, Native American Indians, Eastern Woodlands region, circular trivet made of sweetgrass and birch bark. The top is adorned with a floral pattern made of porcupine quills.

The reverse is inscribed with several names written in pencil and dated "June 25, 1913". Use it as a trivet or hang it as art.

These extremely rare beaded chaps are maker marked H H Heiser out of Denver, Colorado. Coming to Colorado during the Gold Rush of 1858-59, German immigrant Herman H. Heiser ultimately became one of the West's best known saddle makers. The chaps are made from brain-tanned deer hide and are beaded in what appears to be a Cheyenne pattern...

This 45-70 cartridge case was found with a metal detector by a friend of mine at the "Dull Knife Battle Site" fought in November, 1878 from the "Big Hole in the Wall" area in Wyoming.

Most Tusayan Whiteware types have vegetable paint, Vegetable paint often looks soft or watery so the edges are not as sharp as mineral paint, and are supposed to have light paste. Most Little Colorado Whiteware types have vegetable paint...

Exquisite Pre-Columbian stirrup vessel depicting Two Jaguars, an adult and cub, 500 BC–500 AD, 8" H x 10.5 ; Vicus, Peru. This piece appears in "Pre-Columbian Art" by Alan Lapiner, in color on page 186. Its broad grin is reminiscent of the characters in Maurice Sendak's book "Where the Wild Things Are." It has been reassembled from approximately 5 pieces, with the cracks filled in.
