This 45-70 cartridge case was found with a metal detector by a friend of mine at the "Dull Knife Battle Site" fought in November, 1878 from the "Big Hole in the Wall" area in Wyoming.

Alaska Eskimo harpoon spear point 2.3" long, circa Thule culture 1200 AD to 1700 AD. It was found on Saint Lawrence Island located in the Bering Strait Northern coastal region of Alaska. It has beautiful dark patination. In great condition and is very solid.

Frederick Reynolds (1814-1877) was born at Derby, but had moved to Sheffield by 1841, when he was enumerated in the Census as a razor maker working at Sims Croft...

A substantial carving in emerald of an Horse head Fetish, Native American, probably Zuni, Navaho tribe and 20th. century.

The carving is cut and polished in one emerald stone and depicts the head of horse. The stone is transperant light blue-green and very beautiful.

Mesa Verde Black on White Very large Oval pouring bowl 1050 to 1150 ad., it has no restoration. It is a large 5-1/2"high X 11"long X 8-1/2"wide. Rare Kiowa belt with 10 German silver conchos on a harness leather strip with buckskin tie suspensions and rectangular cutouts on each end of the leather strip. Belt is 34" long x 3" wide. Conchos are 2 7/8" in diameter. One Concho has different design elements from the other 9. Most likely a man's belt. Circa 1900.

Inca 5 1/4" Copper Condor Effigy Knife of a mother feeding her chick was found in Peru. Patinated Copper. The blade is still sharp and in excellent condition. What a find! The Andean condor is an impressive animal being the largest flying bird in the world with wing span of up to 10 feet. This phenomenal 7 3/16" Llama Bone Flute is highly engraved with human effigy carvings with crown or headdress and was recovered in Pisac, Peru near Machu Picchu. It is highly polished. It is so translucent that when backlit with a flashlight, light passes through both sides of the bone. It has beautiful patina. A lot of work and pride went into creating this beauty. I purchased it from Jim Bennett who has written several books on detecting fakes and reproductions.
