Used to fasten clothes, in this case due to the unusually heavy fabric and decoration, likely leather for presentation use - perhaps for a very thick cape or leather armor.

An ancient-medieval bronze bowl of the high tin content 'white bronze' type with engravings of the Gaznavids, dating to c. 10th-11th. century AD.

A massive bowl, likely a food bowl for really large parties. The interior of the bowl is almost completely covered with fine azurite patina and when cleaned would reveal the fine design of incised circles-dots (bulls-eye) and perhaps hexacons as well; the exterior is cleaned and plain.

This fantastic ancient weapon is a bronze dagger or spear from Luristan - ancient Northern Iran circa 1200 BC. This piece is heavy and stable. It has a leaf shaped blade with a strong midrib. 19th century Persian silver melon shape salt shaker with repousse branch on top surrounded by a band of small flowers, and with pendant drapery in every sector of the bottom part. Last quarter of 19th century, Qajar dynisty era, very well made, two parts fit snugly, in excellent vintage condition, nicely tarnished (can be cleaned with silver tarnish remover in a minute if needed). Hallmarked with 2 characters on the bottom. Diameter 2 inches, height 2 inches, weight 1.45 ounces (41 grams).

This specimen is a large bronze dagger or spear from ancient Lebanon. I do not have a specific cultural attribution for it as of yet but often these types get the blanket classification of Luristan. It may also be Marlik. There are some losses to the blade edges but the rest of the piece appears solid and stable with no signs of repair or restoration. It measures right at 32 cm in length and weighs 213 grams.The blade is over a cm thick near the center and a half cm at the tip.

The deity likely god from Mesopotamia or Susa, but made in the Southern region and of the mixed intercultural style of Kermanh / Bactria.

The half figure fragmentary with a beak-like nose, large eyes and a small 'sailors' hat, with lumbs of cobber on the body likely representing clothings.
