With silvery iridescence on the surface of both the interior and the exterior. Very beautiful colours. The patina and fine glass-like gloss is difficult to grasp in our pictures but is very visible in hand.

A high quality earthenware bowl with incised decoration in green and painted in green and manganese on the exterior (Bamiyan type), afghanistan, c. 12th. century (Pre 1221 A.D.).

With carinated walls, and a beautiful Islamic symethric pattern in high relief in the interior. As typical for the most boldest specimens, the green and manganese colours are sort of splashed on the exterior side.

A large and elaborate bronze seal with a loop on the back in extraordinary condition, Bactria, 3rd. millenium BC.

A round seal with a an almost floral ornamentation in the center and a circle around in the openwork style. The seal belongs to the group of varied mostly circular metal stamp seals relief cast in bronze or copper alloy, classified as so-called compartmented seals (a term first used in 1943 by the British archaeologist Stuart Pigott – 1943. P. 179–180, fig. 4) Reff...

With spherical body on short foot, the tubular neck with traces of engravings, the handle with beading and pomegranate thumb-rest, minor dents, hairline crack and a couple of small holes to body, but intact, overall patination to surface.

A substantial and interesting type of early Islamic vessel.

A nice lot of three interesting early ancient tanged Bronze daggers from Ancient Near East.

1) A type 2 dagger 23,5 cm, with rounded tip. low shoulders and tappering edges, c. 3rd. mill. BC. Intact.
2) A very early dagger of the type 1, 20,9cm., dating to the 4th.-3rd. mill. BC. Intact
3) A 18,8 cm dagger with low shoulders and pronounced central midrib, 3rd.-2nd mill BC. Small loss to tip.
All three daggers have holes for fastening rivets in the tang.

An interesting large terracotta idol figurine of either astarte or a priest´(?), Syro-Hittite, dating to the mid-later period of the 3rd. millenium BC.

The pillar figure with large round eyes with slits and applied details of mouth and beak-like nose. Angular shoulders and a monolithic body with her hands and delineated fingers placed over the breast and a necklace. The figure also wears an interesting conical cap or hat, a rarer feature for these figures.
