A large and impressive bronze seal with Zoomorphic handle in the shape of two bird heads, early 1st. mill. BC.

The seal very large - 5 cm. tall and weighing 56 grams. Its cast with two heads and a loop between them. The seal being round and engraved with a single symbol.

Condition: Superb, exceptional red and green patina.

A pair of silver bowls with great potential for repairing, Sasanian, c. 3td.-6th. century AD.

Lot includes a hammered bowl with fine decoration in repousé and a larger crack and loss, plus another hammered bowl without decor with a small crack and loss. Both bowls are hammered in rather thin silver and uncleaned with some green encrustation.

A nice lot that can be much more valuable when finely restored!

Interesting and impressive large stamp seal of the hemispheric form so popular in the late Ubaid/Uruk period in Mesopotamia.

The seal is carved with the image of a bird or animal headed demon walking. Really high relief and artfully done. Also interesting, the surface of the seal is drilled with small holes (not deep) as a sort of decoration.

A collectors lot of 5 stamp seals in different kind of stones incl. serpentine and chlorite, made in semi-autonomous Neo-Hittite states of Syria and Levante, during the Neo-Assyrian period, early 1st. millenium BC.

Finely carved and polished. Described as Hittite c. 1600 BC, in the collection, we think it's somewhat later due to the shape which reminds of the Neo-Assyrian style of the 1st. mill. BC.

Lovely quality for the type with artful black and red caligraphy on a cream-white ground.

A large and attractive stone jar, Mesopotamia, Sumer c. 2800-2400 BC.

With the finely concave walls, similar to a jar found in the Royal tombs of Queen Puabi, 2600-2450 BC and jars from Jiroft in this period, dates this jar to the Sumerian period.

The stone used is a rare and very lovely pink calcite, some of the colour probably patina. the stone is banded in clear bands and semi-transperant when lighted. With cream inclusions.

A fine late socketed Javelin for throwing, Assyrian-Achaemenid period. Attractive javelin with rounded shoulders and a defined central midrib. The socket about two thirds of the total lenght of c. 17 cm.

Condition: Very fine. Beautiful reddish patina.
