An attractive two-tone silex / flint axe of the unpolished type with small butt and a wide blade, Time of the Great Buriel mounts, c. later 4th. mill. BC.
Size: 23,8 cm. long and quite heavy, so this would probably have been an offer or ritual axe.
Condition: Good Very fine, tiny ding to the edge, othervise perfect and with a nice specled colour with calcification.

The three points carved in hardstones and probably silex. They can probably be dated to the 2nd.-1st. millenium BC, but 1 could be much earlier. Very hard material and amazing that they could manage to make such refined artifacts of this size...
I have too many bronze arrowheads to post separately so here is another group. These are all from China and date from as early as the Western Zhou (circa 700 BC) to as late as the Han period (circa 200 BC). Each of these is a great specimen for collecting, for study, or both. A finely patinated large Danish Neolithic sicle, dating back to later neolithic period, ca. 2600-2200 B.C.
Wonderful sicle of a good size, measuring c. 14,5 cm. long and 4,6 cm. wide. Very broad and not crescentic. Nice workmanship have resulted in a thinbladed and exquisite flint artifact that will enhance most collections.

A nice lot of 4 small refined celts made from silex as imitations of bronze celts in the bronzeage period. The set dates to ca. 1400 BC or so and the type are rather scarce since they are made late up in the bronzeage!

This is a nice copper or copper alloy axe from Northern Iran. It dates to roughly the end of the third millennium BCE. Similar examples can be seen in P.R.S. Moorey Catalog of Ancient Persian Bronzes in the Ashmolean Museum pp 41-43. Axes of this type are commonly attributed either to the broad classification of Luristan or to the Elamite culture. Ancient Egyptian late period c 664-343 bc bronze amulet figure of the god Osiris with heavy patina . Size H 3" the figure stands on a beautiful ancient Roman or mediterranean glass bead with red and yellow banding.
Ancient solid silver belt plaque from the Scytho-Siberian (Siberian Scythian) civilization, dating back to the 5th-3rd century B.C. The plaque is shaped like a crouching feline, possibly a leopard, and has two loops at the back for attachment. The loops are made of silver strips soldered to the plaque's rear. The plaque was cast and then hand-reshaped using the repousse technique. Additionally, it was pierced and chased to create its intricate design.

Egyptian head of a king with tightly fitting headdress, the uraeus and the vulture partially preserved on the forehead.
Eyes and eyebrows recessed to bear inlays. Also the body of the rearing uraeus was originally inlayed.
Attractive facial features with slightly aquiline nose and full lips, the almond-shaped eyes with cosmetic lines to the outer corners. False beard missing.

This is an extraordinarily rare bronze arrow point from ancient China. Textual references for this type are scarce as well which is a testament to the rarity of the object itself. The point has very intricately cast details and finely ground edges and points. The extra long tang is intact and appears to be as straight as the day it was made. The arrow point dates to the Warring States period of ancient China.

This is a very well preserved bronze sword or dagger from ancient Luristan (circa 1000BC). Overall this piece is in great condition. The flanges on the handle that would have held the inlaid bone,wood or ivory grip are mostly intact (except for one) which is fairly unusual for this type of weapon. This piece measures 353mm and weighs 135 grams. It has a choice, olive patina and no signs of repair.
