A hexagonal Chinese covered dish, decorated in overglaze enamels win the Famille Jaune pallette. The motifs seen in the shaped collar (in the form of a ryui fungus) around the lid are Buddhist precious objects. the flowers are those usually found on such porcelains and include hawthorn (prunus), lotus, orchid, peony, chrysanthemum, etc. The mask handles on the sides would originally have had wire carriers fitted...

This Chinese vase comes from Canton from the end of the 19th century or perhaps the first few years of the 20th century. The shape is termed onion neck for obvious reasons and derives from Delft forms made in Holland in the 17th century. The bright overglaze enamel colors are typical of export wares of the era and the subject matter of boys with balloons containing characters meaning "prosperity" and "good luck".

A early Annamese ( Vietnam ) waterdropper in form of a mythical animal. Porcelain with white glaze. Perfect condition. L : 6,25 inc.

Rare Yuan Dynasty, forteenth century covered box of circular shape with domed lid. Moulded vertical ribbing on side of the lid, and a spray of flowers and leaves moulded in relief in the centre. A black glazed and gilt pottery jar, excavated in Indonesia. China for Indonesia 15th - 16th centuries (?) Chip to the rim and some holes in the base, but a very decorative piece. H : 7,4 inc.

This mid 19th century Chinese molded celedon medicine bottle is 2 ¾ inches tall, 2 inches wide and three-quarters of an inch thick. There are several old chips on the rim, bottom and handle.

This important 11th century Indonesian bronze ladle for holy water was excavated in central Sulawesi. The handle with an excellent dragon design which is clearly inspired by the Chinese Tang Dynasty. A top piece for any Indonesian bronze collection. L : 21,5 cm.

A Famille Rose model of a bearded Immortal, wearing a long tabbed hat and long robes tied at the waist, the robe painted with writhing green dragons among cloud scrolls above foaming waves, holding a Yu-i sceptre in his left hand, standing straight on a raised rectangular base. Nicely crafted in details with a smile on his face.
