Antique Chinese Sung pottery burial jar traditionally used to house the ashes of the deceased, in a very light blue crackle glaze with bare foot. The lid is topped with a large crane shaped finial. The body is tall and slender with images of dragons and heavenly figures. Sung Dynasty (960 - 1279 AD)

Made of camphor wood, gold and red lacquer. The countenance of the Buddha has a full broad complexion and down cast eyes in complete contemplation, flowing robes, hand forming the crown mudra. The back has a consecration covering and three guardian entities; Goat, man, and pig.
The crown chakra (sahaswrara in Sanskrit) is the seventh of the main chakras and it is located outside of the physical body just above the head...

Antique Chinese wood brush washer in a hexagonal shape. Each face is beautifully inlaid with a floral arrangement: a pine branch, a flowering apricot or peach branch, a magnolia branch, a pair of narcissus flowers, a vase with lotus and a second vase with magnolia. It measures 7" tall, 6" wide at base. 20th century.
Antique Chinese scroll, with stylized calligraphy, signed with two red chops, over a painting of fish leaping from a cluster of seaweed, signed also with two additional red chops. A very whimsical representation of the fish.
Female artist Yu"Yingzi signed both the calligraphy poem and painting, dated winter Hong Kong 1925.

Chinese small bronze tripod incenser in the form of a peach. With tall cylindrical tripod feet, the base of the peach is inscribed with cartouche in relief. Provenance from Zeilig Gallery Collection, previously purchased from Spinks 1979.

Width approximately 17.5 cm (the tipspout to the handle). There are few soft chips at the cover. There are some firing cracks at the filter. More pictures are available. In good condition.
Chinese Famille Jaune Porcelain round shape Ginger Jar, Ca. 1920, 7 1/2" high, 7" wide- widest middle area, 3 3/4" diameter-top rim, with overglaze Happiness Chinese character inside 4 round circle wrapped around double bats, filled with sprays of pink Peony floral branches. Inside the bottom shows some rough finish stains, not crack, outside bottom is completely sealed and finished surface. Some old frits around inner rim area and some surface scratches on the glazed area.
Chinese porcelain box with a cobalt blue underglaze of a twisting dragon on the lid, with squared spiral designs around the lid's edges. The bottom of the box has crashing waves and a large fish sticking its head out from the water. The bottom of the box is marked Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi, "Great Qing Qianlong Period Make". The white spots seen on the box are a reflection of the box's textured surface.
