An interesting and decorative Tibetan mixed metals dish, probably for a temple decoration, 19th/20th. cent.
The dish elaborately decorated with multible gemstones incl. corals, torquise, glass stones and filigree. Mounted with 4 small buddha figures. Hanger at the back and old note from the collector: ''This Plate En kript(?) was purchased by a Tibetan refugee in India in 1960.''

Each sealed with a cobber lid in the base.

A very rare early bronze Vajra or Dorje, a Tibetan Buddhist ritual implement, c. 14th. century or even earlier.
Even smooth wear from centuries of use, but with fine details of Lotus petals visible.

Fine lime box, made of silver with embossed decoration of floral and geometric design, its lid being adorned at its top with an embossed brass decor representing a stylised Buddhist Wheel of the Law. Beneath, an embossed design representing a stylised Buddhist Wheel of the Law surrounded by a floral decor. The box still contains remnants of lime, which is used for the betel. Tibet, early 20th century, maybe earlier. Dimensions: height: 4.8 cm, diameter: 6.3 cm. Very good condition.

A powerful image of Padmasambhava also known as Guru Rimpoche, the reputed founder of Tibetan Buddhism. Carved mostly of a single piece of precious dark purple sandalwood (zitan). Remains of colours and gold. Tibet, 17–18th cent. H 15 cm. Condition: Very good but of course with wear due to age. The trident (khatvanga) is missing.
A lovely old silver and torquise mounted Conch shell, Tibet, 18th.-19th. century.
Attractive and substantial Buddhist antique. Thick silver folliage mount with animals and a demon masks. Mounted with torquise stones, one missing.

19th (can be as early as 18th) century Tibetan banded agate bead of elongated seed shape. Beautiful stone with wonderful contrasting layers, excellent patina from wear, very pleasant to hold. Length 1.63 inches.
