A Chinese porcelain bowl with fluted wall/ blue and white motifs decorations, an unreadable mark inside the foot rim. Ming Dynasty Jiajing to Longqing period, circa mid-16th century. Condition: minor kiln faults and a few tiny glaze flakes on the rim, photo #6 shows two example of them. The bowl is not in a perfect round shape. Please refer to photos for condition details. A good quality deep bowl on a relatively high foot-ring decorated in a full Imari pallette, sans aubergine enamels, and decorated with a curiously constructed set of three reserves in underglaze blue with a central stylised Chrysanthemum (or possibly a Lotus, or fusion of the two) with assymetric stylised vine like scrolls surrounding a light iron red wash with gilt karakusa vine ground...
A good pair of Kenjo Imari dishes decorated with a central auspicious “botan-mon” ringed by a wave border with gobenka...

Antique Korean single section cabinet made with elm wood and hardwood burl panels. Hardware is made of brass. Beautiful rich patina. The upper portion has four small drawers in a horizontal row along the very top. The body of the chest is mostly made up of two large compartments opened by hinged doors.

A beautifully carved cinnabar round box depicting a sage and his attendant walking under a pine tree in a waterfront scene. We date this box to mid-Qing Dynasty, 18th century. The box is in very good antique condition, with some expected minor loses and small chips, parts of the rims are retouched. Antique Japanese choba tansu made of keyaki (elm) wood. The top portion has two small drawers. The middle portion has a compartment opened by sliding panels with horizontal slats. The slats are made of quarter sawn keyaki wood which dramatically accents the striped quality of the wood grain. Below this is a single large drawer. The hardware is made of iron and includes round lock plates.

Antique Japanese single section isho tansu (clothing chest) made of kiri (paulownia) wood. Iron hardware includes warabite shaped drawer pulls and round lock plates. There are two large exterior drawers. In the bottom right hand corner is a safe box with hinged door and two small interior drawers.

A Chinese porcelain gourd-shaped vase in coral-red glaze. "Daqing Jiaqing Nianzhi" six characters mark inside the foot rim, and of the period. The vase is in excellent condition: no chip, no crack, no restoration, but just a few glaze scratches. Height: 6".
Japanese special set of 10 Kichi arrows, with consecration marks by the Kichijo-ji Temple. Kichi means good omen. Forged steel, with red lacquered tips. Mounted in splayed fan shape. Very unusual original red lacquered tips.
