A Veracruz life size head from 600 AD-900 AD. This figure wears a cap with head ornamentation and ear spools. The pupils and mouth are blackened with bitumen. A flesh tone slip covers the head. It is mounted on a stand. In fine conditon althought there is a minor crack on the left cheek.

A female Colima figure from the pre-Classic period [1200 BC-300AD]. She wears a hat, earrings, necklace and shoulder ornamentation. There are stress cracks of the arm, neck and leg which have been professionally restored. It shows strong yellow and red pigmentation. 9" high.

An attractive larger pottery flute with human bust of a female holding hans to her breasts.

Size: 70 mm. tall and 76 mm. deep.

Condition: Intact with minor old lossses.

Provenance: Inger and Ebbe Gotzche Frederiksen, Espergærde, Denmark. The couple lived years in South America, in Ecuador in 1958, Columbia from 1964-1966 and later in 1976 in Peru and Bolivia, and in all of those places they bought the collection...

A well-modeled figure measuring 8 inches in height. The figure is shown kneeling, with a cape or cloak draped over the left arm, the right hand resting on a knee. A twisted turban sits on the figures head, and prominent "ear-flares" are present. Intact, with losses and abrasions to the surface.

A finely weathered and patinated sculpture with provenance to a reknown old German Collection.

The sculpture was made in a white-cream stone, perhaps fossilized coral(?) and depicts a seated couple, naked and holding hands, knees thouching and they are kissing tungue against tungue...

This Mayan bone carving is unique in that it has a Mayan glyph carved on the back which translates to "Old God". It is 2 1/4" long. The carving is very well done and has extremely rare iconography. As rare as it gets. A museum quality piece. Purchased from Keith Finello.

Huge Rare Pre Columbian Near life size Nayarit half face sculpture fragment. Fantastic piece perfectly broken showing half of a warriors geometric painted face in red and white with extensive black dendrite deposits. The mask made of a polychromed stucco burnished finish. A highly interesting and very accomplished Blackware vessel with the portrait head of a living man, Precolumbian Peru, Late Moche or early Chimú, 7th.-9th. century AD.

Superbly detailed and rather substantial vessel, made as a grinning man with his tungue between his teeth and wearing larger earrings and headdress, the spout of the vessel prodruding from the top of his head. Rather scarce piece!
