A substantial pottery figure of a mythical creature, Mexico, Mayan or earlier pre 8th. century AD.

A delicately made hollow terracotta figure of great appeal and quite funny really. The figure with a thick belly pronounced jaw, round eyes, large headdress with wings behind, earspools etc. Very interesting style, possibly a flute.

Mexican Pre Columbian Tlatilco Terracotta Head. Rare fragment from an early culture c 1200bc-600bc. Tlatilco is noted in particular for its high quality pottery pieces, many featuring Olmec iconography. Tlatilco figures were known for their elaborate hair styles. This Bust has the classic eyes a large detailed hair style neck piece and double spool earrings and large breasts . Size 2.25" by 1.5"

This very fine Colima figure is a great work of art, able to balance itself in a position of action. It is also possible that this figure is a warrior holding a club rather than a bat.This piece dates from 300BC to 200AD. There are three repairs,the head was reattached at the neckline and the club was repaired at the lower end, there was a small crack on the left groin area that was repaired otherwise intact.This is a very unique Colima figure with mineral deposit overall ...

This beautiful Olmec true light green translucent jade (specific gravity tested at 1.66) axe-god is 3 3/4" long and 1 1/4" wide. The back shows no evidence of modern repolish. This piece is ex. This Classic Mayan mother-of-pearl figurine is 1 1/8" wide. It was found by Dr. Allen Heflin. Although I could not capture it in photos, it is nicely opalescent. It would make a very unusual jewelry finding. It is C300-900AD.

This 18K gold bell is a real beauty with original clapper intact which gives an extremely pleasing tinkle. It is 7/8". This is especially beautiful gold. It weighs 13.4 grams. The sound of bells were used by shamans in their magical rituals to open portals or manifest will. It has a large decorated loop on top allowing it to be worn with a large chain. An outstanding piece of pre-Columbian jewelry.
