This fabulous Columbia River Gem Point is made from yellow, orange and ice translucent agate. It is Ex. Norma Berg collection. It is 13/16" and very thin. I haven't seen a color like this in 40 years of collecting.

A stone necklace composed of numerous beads of graduated size, variously of globular, tubular or irregular form in shades of light green, white and grey. They are suspending a Mezcala stone head pendant with broad incisions used to mark the facial characteristics and drilled at the back of the head. The suspended length as pictured is 15".

Maya Jade Head, 1 7/8 " by 7/8" . CA. 500 A.D. to 900 A.D. On custom made steel display stand. The head is an ovoid shape, pierced with an ancient drilled hole for suspension. The piece was carved in the round. Beautiful deep dark green on over 3/4 of the head encompassing the left, frontal and partial right side, with a light green on the remaining 1/4 on the right side. Provenance: Ex. James Muriden collection.

Overstreet states the Agee points are "the finest, most exquisite arrow point made in the United States". They are both 1 7/8". They are both made from translucent novaculite. They were found near the area of the Crenshaw Site. The name of the finder goes to the purchaser. I purchased both on 8-2-92 from Ray Stanford. Agee points of this quality are never seen on the open market. They are extremely rare and hoarded.

Ancient pre-Columbian, Mesoamerican, Guerrero, Mezcala culture, late pre-classic period (c. 500 -100 BC) large anthropomorphic god-axe in the form of a standing idol carved from speckled brownish-gray stone.

The figure is characteristically abstract and minimalist, comprising of a large head, a dome-shaped brow, and a thin and open mouth.

Torso with slightly defined, tapering short legs- hence the name "axe god" since replicates the shape of a traditional chopping tool - an axe...

A choice and very charming collection of 6 bronze spatels or spoons with animal finials, baboon, monkey, rat, pelican, dog and bird. Late Moche or Chimú, 800-1200 AD.

Pin-shaped bronze coca spoons (also called lime spoon), was used to measure lime powder in order to enhance the hallucinogenic properties of other drugs.

They are costum mounted to a large plexi block and it seems to be a nice way to display them.

A very attractice pottery bowl with the typical corset / convex shape, Ica / Chincha bowl, pre-columbian, 1000-1476 AD.

Probably made locally under Inca overlordship. The ornamentation of this Ica-Chincha vessel is geometric, and it brings to mind a woven textile pattern and surface.

Size: 12,8 cm. in diameter and 4,8 cm. tall.

Condition: Good Very fine, intact with a few minor glaze chips to the rim.

This is an extraordinarily rare and unique carved bone Mayan plaque. This masterpiece is the finest I have ever seen and very few exist. It is 4 1/2" X 2 1/2" X 1/8". It is from the Aapo Bolon Estate which was collected by the family while living in Guatemala from 1920-1980. I inspected the entire collection of over 1000 pieces and found nothing incorrect in any item. This was the finest piece in the offering. A medium-sized Hopi Kachina doll hand carved by Wilson Tewaquaptewa circa 1910. With painted details, carved arms, attached protruding ears and tableta. Tewaquaptewa (1871-1960) was the last chief of Old Oraibi. He produced Kachina dolls which are a combination of many dolls and figments of his own imagination.
