A Veracruz stone yoke circa 250-950 AD in characteristic U-form, the thick implement with polished surface except for the outside. A flat top, the sides tapering slightly downwards. The end of each arm is relief- carved with an ornate pattern of complementary bands and scrolling plumage-like motifs. Remains of a red pigment in a speckled grey-light green stone. A very beautiful matching pair of Maya Jade ear ornaments from the classic period CA 500 AD to 800 AD. A medium seated Ameca style female figure, cream slip surface with traces of black painted decoration. Mineral deposits and root marks on the surface. Repaired form approximately six original pieces, left arm retached with breakline clearly visible with loss along breakline.

I purchased this river-stained tally-marked four-directional/cross bone pendant from Tom Davis on 8-7-92. Tom had owned it for 10 years and he purchased it from the finder. This extremely rare 6 1/2" angular owl effigy pipe was found by Dr. Allen Heflin in 1958 at the Tzintzuntzan, Michoacan site in Mexico. It is type 3A. The pupil of the right eye is missing. This is truly a fabulous pipe of which only a few exist in private collections.

A very early pre-Classic [1200 Bc-300 AD] Tlatilco female figure. Although the right arm and most of the headdress are missing, it is still a fine example of a very early pre-Columbian art work. 4" tall.

This nicely translucent Rose Springs was found in Colorado. It measures 1 5/16" X 11/16". It is made from a beautiful translucent waxy agate. It comes with a Jackson COA. A very nice point.

A female Colima figure from the pre-Classic period [1200 BC-300AD]. She wears a hat, earrings, necklace and shoulder ornamentation. There are stress cracks of the arm, neck and leg which have been professionally restored. It shows strong yellow and red pigmentation. 9" high.

A typical rigid body with squared-off shoulders, straight arms draped to the hips with incisions to denote fingers and toes, a flattened head marked by deep crescent in-cut eyes and mouth. It is drilled at the nose and through the earrings and wears a rectangular peaked cap. Measures 8" in height and on a presentation stand. Provenance: Leonard Kaplan Collection, Laguna Beach, CA.

Guatemala Mayan 250-900 AD Kiche Mayans. A small green stone carved human figure arms at its sides shows good signs of age and there is a old chip to her left top corner.Size 2.5"h 11/4" w This piece was collected in the town of Chichicastenango, also known as Santo Tomás Chichicastenango, is a town in the El Quiché department of Guatemala, known for its traditional K'iche' Maya culture.

A 4 figure group of Pre-Columbian textile dolls, ca. AD 1100 - 1450. They are attached to a 6 in cushion made from cotton, is stuffed with a variety of plant and animal fibers and retains its carrying strap. Each doll is made from different cloth.

This 18K gold bell is a real beauty with original clapper intact which gives an extremely pleasing tinkle. It is 7/8". This is especially beautiful gold. It weighs 13.4 grams. The sound of bells were used by shamans in their magical rituals to open portals or manifest will. It has a large decorated loop on top allowing it to be worn with a large chain. An outstanding piece of pre-Columbian jewelry.
