This is an extroadinarily rare Aztec ceramic pipe. There are only 3 others of this earliest type known to exist. It was found by Dr. Allen Heflin on 12/2/60 in Cuautitlan, Mexico. The end of the stem has been broken off and appears to have been glued back on. This is not the prettiest of the 4 pipes I have listed, but it is the oldest likened unto Paleo vs. Archaic. I have what I believe to be the largest and finest collection of Aztec pipes in private hands.

I purchased this unique antler wedge or chisel from Jim Bennett. It has fabulous patina and is scored/grooved on the sides. It is 5 3/8" and was found near Wakemap Mound on the long narrows of the Columbia River, Oregon in the 1950's by Charlie Mitchell. A very rare and unique piece.

Antique and rare form Yerba Mate cup, in silver, Spanish Colonial style, 19th century or earlier, featuring doves, parrots, floral and foliate designs, and other birds, on round base with scrolling sculpted feet. The cup alone measures 8" high, with a base of7" diameter. The bombilla is 7 3/4" long. Unsigned and unmarked, which is usually the case. Entire cup and base are of hand wrought silver with embossed designs and attached figures of doves and parrots...

Pre-Columbian Chimu Goldball Necklace. Circa 1000 A.D. – 1200 A.D. 28” total lenght. 76 grams total weight. Composed of high karat gold beads including fourteen large, lentoid-ball beads, each interspersed with a medium size gold bead and sixty-four small gold beads. Several of the large beads have dents and evidence of crushing and small holes along the central soldering seam. Modernly strung, suitable for wearing. Provenance: Ex. Jean-Eugene Lions Collection, Geneva.

Pre-Columbian Nayarit male Kokopelli ca. 300 ad, playing a wood rasp drum with a horned helmet, the Kokopelli of the prehistoric southwest was described as a man with a terribly deformed back, bent over playing a flute with magical powers and was able to communicate with the Gods, I believe this is the grandfather of the prehistoric southwest Kokopelli, meaning the legends of the Kokopelli didn't start in the southwest but much further south. Every legend had to start somewhere...

A massive and elaborate seal of the rare roller seal group, probably for decorating bread, Pre-Columbian Carchi culture, Ecuador. 500 BC-500 AD.

A very beautiful and impressive seal decorated with geomethric patterns in solid grey stoneware. The seal born with protruding handles, to make it easier to use.

1 3/8" long x 1 3/8" wide. Silver and semi-precious stones (turquoise, jet, abolony, carl). A knife wing god with silver wings and tail feathers, applied silver beading and scrolling wire details.

A wonderful collection of 9 silver implements, Chimú-Inca period, ca. 12th.-15th. century AD.

The selection incl. a very large pin with oval hammered finial as well as a pin or small coca spoon with round hammered head and two fine pins with bird-head finials.

This outstanding frame of bone points are from the Columbia River, Oregon and are C700-1200. They were pictured in the Oregon Archaeological Society Magazine "Screenings" Volume 5 Number 6 on August 13, 1956. A copy of the article is included. They were recovered from the Wakemap Mound. The longest is 3". These are extremely rare bone items with beautiful patina.
