Pre-Columbian, Mexico, Guerrero region, Mezcala culture, ca. 1200 BCE-200 BCE. Father figure with child on hip. Each figure has attenuated legs, string-cut grooves delineating the arms and neck, and bulbous heads with minimalist visages. Made from diorite. Size of tallest section 3" H, includes custom stand.

This is a beautiful Pelican Lake point found in Wyoming that I purchased from the Arley Hudson collection in 1987. It is made from a gorgeous waxy translucent orange moss agate with two ribbons of white agate showing on the lower right side. The reverse side is heavily patinated from exposure. It is 2" long. It is extremely well chipped. You won't be disappointed with this one.

Circa 1875-1880. Depicting a warrior killing or scalping another man, the warrior holding an elaborate war shield with long feather decorated panel hanging from its center and followed by his horse. The word "Owl" above. On the reverse is written, "This drawing was from a book shown by Robert Miller Gallery N.Y. 1970's. I think it is Southern Cheyenne. George Terasaki sold the book to Miller. Modern artists like David Hockney and Janet Fish received drawing from this book...

Pre Columbian Volcanic stone foot offering effigy , small red brown stone carved as a left foot the top has a face carved with teeth . We believe this to be either Tairona due to the face or Costa Rican because they did make appendage offering pieces in stone. Wonderful tiny sculpture . Size L 3" W just under 1.5"

This bone pendant is 1 3/4". It has been drilled and modified. It may be an atlatl finger rest. It is C1000AD. I purchased it from Tom Davis many years ago. It is from Kentucky.

A medium sized carved wood Hopi Kachina doll - Hornet Kachina (Tatangaya) circa 1930. Description of Tatangaya from Colton: "Two types...At Second and Third Mesas he wears a green case mask with datura flower ears. Stripes of all colors surround the face. Cloth ruff, breech clout, and green moccasins. Yellow and red body paint. The Hornet Kachina appears in groups or singly in Mixed Kachina Dance, and the Pamuya. He is said to be of Zuni origin."
