I have seen and collected many bird celts and axe-gods over the years. This one ranks near the top for the type. This Olmec translucent jade figure is 1 7/8" long. The bottom was broken off in antiquity which allows one to peer into its ancient patina and jade composition and also keeps the price affordable. The drill hole is original which is important as it is the best place to look at for authenticity. I had a jeweler install a modern 14K gold loop so I could wear it. It has excellent provenance which goes to the buyer.

This is a very rare projectile made from a stingray barb. It is 7 3/4" long. It was found in the Pacific Islands. It has beautiful patina. There is no damage or restoration. It is from the Dr. Raymond Thomas collection. I have only seen two of these in all my years of collecting. The other one is pictured on this site in my bone frame.

Overstreet states the Agee points are "the finest, most exquisite arrow point made in the United States". They are both 1 7/8". They are both made from translucent novaculite. They were found near the area of the Crenshaw Site. The name of the finder goes to the purchaser. I purchased both on 8-2-92 from Ray Stanford. Agee points of this quality are never seen on the open market. They are extremely rare and hoarded.

This Tunjo is 5 1/2" long. Tunjos are from the Musica culture, 900AD-1500AD. This culture inhabited the high plateau in the area of modern Bogota. Most Tunjos that survived are made from gold or tumbaga. Obviously, many were made from bone, but being an organic material, very few bone ones have survived. In fact, this is the only one I have ever seen. I have had several gold Tunjos and they are unique and beautiful and in much demand. Needless to say, bone Tunjos are extremely rare.

This jade piece has been specific gravity tested as true jadeite. It is 1 1/8" long and 1/8" to 1/16" thick and looks like it is a jade river worn pebble. It could easily be adapted for modern wear as a ring or necklace. It is ex-Keith Finello and has been authenticated by a forensic laboratory, Orenda Labs.

Ceramic figure of a Peyote Shaman, 6" tall, 2,000 years old, from Jalisco, Mexico. He has a decapitated snake in his right hand, a death bubble between his lips, and a peyote-button bowl on his head. He has faced death and returned to serve his people. Peyote is a small psychedelic cactus used in life-altering ceremonies.

This is a Mayan Jade sitting cross-legged pregnant woman. Depictions of women are rare. Pregnant women are even rarer. She is wearing a coiled snake headdress. Snakes are a powerful symbol among the Maya. In their primal form, snakes represent the surge of life force that brings all things on earth into manifestation. It is 3" tall. Excellent patina. No damage. It was found in Guatemala and dates to 250-600AD. I purchased it in 1991 from dealer Michael Robbins.

This is an extremely rare jade picture-plaque that dates to the Late Classic Period around 700 AD. In my 40 years of collecting, I have never seen one for sale. This extraordinarily rare Olmec Jade dagger or possible bloodletter was found together with the below quartz dagger, This piece is 4 1/2" long. The little Olmec man on the top is only 1 1/4". This incredibly rare Olmec spoon is made from Robin's egg translucent blue jade. It has a perfect classic Olmec mouth which is very hard to find. These spoons were used for ceremonial snuffing of hallucinogenic substances by shamans. It is 4 1/4". It has beautiful patina and weathering is obvious.
