Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this lot of 7 New Kingdom terra-cotta molds from Tell el-Amarna. Two molds have numbers on the bottom in black and red. The molds include a well defined rosette, a seated figure, scepter, collar element, figure of Bes, a scarab and an ankh. Each mold looks to have been used with remains of faience paste inside. Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this large detailed wooden foot from a statue. Each of the five toes are carved in detail and the foot is presented in yellow. A red sandal strap crosses at the top of the foot and runs between the toes. The original dowel still exists on the back of the foot that connected it to the larger statue. The foot measures 7.25" in length and forms an excellent and interesting display that shows footwear of the Egyptians in everyday life...
