The name means ‘The one who is protected by Toth’

Ancient egyptian faience Shabti 6,5cm.

inscription: "Osiris; The singer of Amun, justified."

This ushabti figurine is depicted as a worker holding two hoes for work in the fields of Osiris in the afterlife.

He is wearing a tripartite wig which falls down between the shoulders.

Only the hands crossed over the chest and holding the already-mentioned agricultural implements.

Vintage silver bracelet set with 7 Egyptian faience scarabs. Each beetle is mounted so that the hieroglyphic writing on the underside could be seen. The largest scarab in the middle. Beautiful blue coloring consistent with fine faience. Stamped silver.

It is 9/16” long (14 mm) and made of steatite, an easy-to-carve stone that hardens when heated. This amulet is carved from a beautiful blue-green stone, most probably jasper and has been done with great attention to detail. The surface has a wonderful "mellow" patina and great tactile appeal. It measures 1"in height and is free from any restoration or re-carving. Inserted on a wooden stand, easily removed, should one desire. Dating to the Middle Kingdom. Ex London art market.
