Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this detailed ancient Greek bronze coin. The coin features the a choice patina with the head of an emperor on the obverse. The reverse of the coin features a standing figure flanked with Greek text on either side. This is a lovely example that measures 3/4" in diameter. Ex-McInnis Collection.

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this interesting example of an ancient Greek bronze arrowhead. This arrowhead was manufactured by one of the Greek states ca. 600 - 200 B.C. This arrowhead is of the trilobite type and remains intact with lovely patina. The blade measures 27mm in length. Ca. 600 - 200 B.C. Ex-McInnis collection.

Interesting pottery flute in the shape of a bird. Greek dating to c. 600 BC.

The body is very nicely detailed with naturalistic bird features.

Terracotta torso decorated with incised bands gathered by medallions on the shoulders and on the back. The larger medallion on the chest chipped off. The additional decoration points to the depiction of a woman.

This is a very nice bronze dagger or spear blade from the ancient near East - probably from Northern Iran circa 1200 BC or earlier. It has a thin, flat blade with a reinforced midrib. It has a perforation in the tang which is covered by the patina. It also has some slight bending in the blade which is why I have listed it for such a low price. It does not appear to be damaged or repaired in any other way. It measures roughly 23 cm in length and weighs 84 grams.

It belongs to the type VIII b category and dates back to the Bronze Age, which lasted from 1500 B.C. until the final phases of the Mycenaean period in 1100 B.C. Ancient Greek archers commonly used this type of arrowhead during the Trojan War.
