Campanian kylix with four palmettes linked by incised arcs to form a ‘palmette cross’. Thin-walled cup with shallow bowl and gently rounded floor.
Finely impressed palmettes. The linking arcs impressed with a twisted wire.
Former collector’s numeration (95) inside the carefully modeled ring foot. Dark points around the foot indicate that the cup was hold with four fingers when dipped into the black glaze.

Terracotta head of one of the Dioscuri wearing a pointed cap with bulged rim. Strands of wavy hair frame the face.
The head is almost entirely covered with a white slip. The details of the face such as eyes and mouth were rendered with additional colors.

A very beautiful tall figural alabastron in form of Kore, Eastern Greek, Middle of the 6th century BC.
The portrait is in the tradition of the Kore representations, here as a young elegant woman holding a bird in her left hand, red-brown terracotta.

Black glazed sieve guttus with a raised molding around the perforated sieve at centre. Pairwise cannelures on the cushion-shaped body. The ring handle placed at right angles to the straight spout. Ring foot reserved underneath.

An interesting pair of ancient Greek wheel-made pottery lamps in orange clay, dating to 4th-1st cent AD.
Both lamps with a central, conical tube. The concave rim turned inwards and rounded short nozzles with large wick holes. Old collection tags on both pieces

Condition: Choice and intact lamps with wear for type and age.

The first of these molds depicts a Makara surrounded by floral swirls. It measures 3-1/4" in both height and width. The second shows an animal face or mask and measures 1-3/4" in both height and width. Rubberized impressions included for both.
