Finely carved in a black stone with a medium tall handle, and carved with a fine grit pattern in the base.

Interesting blackstone seal with low loop handle and a carving of XXX inside linedecoration, Mesopotamian, late Ubaid period (5500-3700 BC).
Oberlánder dates this seal to the 3rd. millenium BC, we're certain that it's a much earlier and made in the later Ubaid period (5500-3700 BC).

The bulbous vessel with a finely polished exterior and with a broad flat rim.
