A wonderful lot of three very nice bronze antiquities!

Lot includes a lovely finial of a bronze rooster with a scorpios tail (!), quite unusual and beautifully sculptured for the medium, redish patina and 8,3 cm. tall. Another stylized rooster finial in bronze 5,5 cm., both Islamic Khorassan style, ca. 10th.-12th. century AD and a very interesting intact clasp in bronze with a finely modelled Lions mask on the front, still wearable today, 5,5 cm.

Hemispheric seal with a wonderful free carving in a drill style of birds in a highly attractive and rare stone for the period. Pronounced collar round the ends of the perforations. This particular feature is rarely seen on such a large Uruk seal.

An very nice earthenware bowl with incised decorations withfloral petals in the center. Beige/white underglaze with green and brown decorative colors in splash design. Bamiyan, c. 12th. century.

High, wide walls on narrow base. Remnants of rim from another bowl in the kiln on the side.

Size: 13,7 x 6,4 cm.

Condition: Choice with fine glaze, hairline crack on the side and a chip to the rim. Smaller losses of glaze...

Interesting and well-patinated white stone cylinder seal, Greater Babylonia, 2nd. millenium BC.

The seal carved with a symbol of animals with intertwinned necks and lines of pseudo cuneiform script.

A very attractive pottery bowl, in a nice fairly original state for type with caligraphy, Islamic Samenid Dynasty, ca. 9th.-10th. century.

A larger bowl both wide and tall and decorated with wonderful caligraphy in black on cream glaze with red drops added.

Condition: Choice for type with original crackled glaze with much patina. Some breaks restored and repainted, especially in the center.

A really nice and impressive stamp seal wuth a tall handle, Western Mesopotamia, c. 2nd. mill. BC.

The seal is inspired by early Assyrian iconography and shows a finely carved Lion on it's hind legs grapping or fighting a monster with multible legs - here the Lion is probably the king or leading god, while the Lizzard creature is the evil one.

Size: c. 20 mm. wide and 20 mm. tall.

Condition: Near Extremely fine.
