A beautiful & large Indus Valley pottery jar, dating to c. 3rd mill. BC. Probably Mehrgarh-civilisation.

The jar is designed beautifully as a large beaker with a wide mouth, a concave body on a narrow base. The jar is decorated with several concentric rings and an animal and a flower. The other decorations could be some sort of writing (?).

Size: ca 14 cm each 8-9 cm. wide - nice pieces from Indus Valley.

Condition: Superb for age and type...

Reportedly found near Antioch.

A wonderful matching set of three Mace Heads of the rare claw-shaped type, Bactria, 2nd. millenium BC.

Bactrian bronze egg-shaped mace-heads with spiked sleeves or prongs, Late 2nd Millennium BC. The top of the weapons with narrow edge, the sleeves with small internal tangs for mounting them to a shaft.

The seal is carved in rock-crystal and is very attractive, Sasanian, ca. 3rd.-6th. century AD.

The base of this hemispheric seal is engraved with a firealter that gives a very high relief impression in wax.

A tanged 'Luristan' bronze dagger from Ancient Near East, Caspian Sea Area, Bronze age, dating to 2nd mill BC.

The dagger with rounded shoulders, a short tang and central midrib. The top of the blade has two holes for fastening rivets.

Length: c. 26,5 cm.

Condition: Fine green patina with some roughness to the edges. The blade has a bend at the the tip, as seen on pictures.

Reportedly found in Western Mesopotamia, the motif of this fine large stamp seal, is known also in Eastern Anatolia and dates to the late 5th.-4th. millenium BC (Ubaid period).

The seal is expertly engraved with the image of a scary spiked demonic creature on 4 legs. In the field before him, there's a bird.

Size: 36 mm. wide and 28 mm. tall, height is 7-8 mm.

Highly interesting and impressive seal which is probably depicting a mythical demon.

Highly interesting scaraboid seal of the earliest style and type we've seen, probably inspired by Egyptian scarab seals, Middle bronze age of the Levant, c. 2200-1600 BC.

The seal is very large and carved in a greenish black stone. Interestingly, there's remnants of the metal mount, probably a chain in iron or bronze (looks like iron!). The seal is carved with Capride with a bird above.

Condition: Nice VF, evidently with some beautiful wear and patina!
