Roman Imperial style terracotta figure of Aphrodites.
She is depicted as a beautiful and voluptious concubine. She is naked from the low waist up and is bending slightly forward to look into the mirror with a comb in her other hand and she has a look of perhaps dissatisfaction on her face. Her elaborate headdress is in the style of the court, early 2nd. century AD at the time of the Emperor Trajan.

A very large unguentarium made of slightly green clear glass Roman, Eastern Mediterranean, 2nd - 3rd century AD.
The bottle of impressive height and with broad base and tappering neck, sound glass.
Size: c. 17,5 cm. tall and 8,7 cm. in diameter at the base!
Condition: Extremely fine, sound almost clear glass vessel with beautiful silverish and rainbow irridescence and deposits inside.
Provenance: Formerly in the property of Eberhard Hanfstaengl (1886-1973)
A superb and large Roman Necklace of spherical gold, amethyst, garnet and emerald beads of different sizes, some amethyst beads also biconical, in the centre a triangular banded agate set in gold.

A pair of very rare and historical interesting pottery oillamps, 1st.-2nd. century AD.
1) Oillamp with it's discus decorated with a rearing panther over a Vase, with a three in the background. Very beautiful scene in good style and high relief, single handle. Part of base missing.
2) Oillamp with a very rare decorations of arms and armor! The decoration includes a Roman Cuirass, Battleaxe, different shields, helmet, shield w. spear etc. Loss of handle and holes in the base...
An large and exceptional bronze oil lamp with handle in shape of a leaf and pyramid-shaped, pierced lid. Byzantine, 5th - 6th century A.D.
The lamp is finely engraved and well built. A substantial and very elegant bronze lap with beautifully patinated surfaces. Interestingly, an openwork lid was chosen for it in antiquity, perhaps since it became to hot with a closed tight lid, due to the large size and construction.

A nice little lot of a finely made bronze weight(?) and a larger heavy bronze weight (weight 83,09 grams) with loop for a strap, and a charming fibula, all Roman, 1st.-3rd. cent. AD:

Roman figural terracotta oil lamp with single handle. The discus is framed by two concentric rings, in the middle is a high profile bust of a woman with cloak over one shoulder and naked breast. Maker's mark on the bottom: MNOVIVSI. He was a lamp maker, known as M. Novius Justus, with a workshop situated in North Africa and produced oil lamps from 120 – 180 AD.
