A pristine Iron doorhammer in the finest Late Medieval / Gothic style, European 14th.-15th. century.
The hammer head in the shape of a deers head and the horn and shaft finely twisted, the nails for inserting it into a thick wooden door are still finely preserved as well.

An attractive large fishtail type of dagger, made in the late neolithic period, Daggertime-bronzeage, c. 2000-1600 BC.
A type with an elaborately knapped handle, stiched in the sides and full size for a grown hand. The blade chipped and resized in later periods. Looks originally like a type IV-V to us.
Comes with with very old collection tags and another tag written directly in black ink - found at Sorø 1909!

A choice and beautiful red carnelian Cylinder seal, dating to the Achaemenid Empire, 7th.-4th. century BC.
Finely carved and polished barrel-shaped, carved with two animals at the sides of a tree. The clay impression, we made is not the best, but the seal is really sharp and attractive in hand.
Size: 19-20 mm. tall.
Condition: Extremely fine.

Greek black-glazed skyphos with high swelling body and plain rim. Fairly wide base with low, bulged foot. Two round-sectioned handles applied horizontally to the exterior of the rim.
Underside with two circles and dot, reserved surface with a dull red wash.

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this outstanding and well-wrapped ancient Egyptian mummy. This mummy features fine wrapping with an outer shroud surrounding the ibis within. This is in the style found in similar offerings to the god Thoth and dates to the Ptolemaic period, ca. 350 B.C.. This is a rare mummy and is an excellent example of an ibis mummy. The mummy was originally part of the Wallace N. Stearns collection and was part of the MacMurray College collection in Missouri.
Shallow plate nicely decorated with red-orange banding, contrasting well with the pale brown clay.
The center and the edge to the slightly raised rim with neatly incised grooves. Concentric ridges also on the outside face. Standing on a low ring foot.

Daunian krater with globular body and short funneled mouth. The vertical loop handles on the shoulder area alternate with two red colored stumps.
Brown-red linear decoration around the body, wavy lines at the handle area, hanging semicircles inside the funnel opening.
One handled reattached with bone glue, a medium that was in use until the 1950s.

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this large detailed wooden foot from a statue. Each of the five toes are carved in detail and the foot is presented in yellow. A red sandal strap crosses at the top of the foot and runs between the toes. The original dowel still exists on the back of the foot that connected it to the larger statue.
