This is a wonderful example of an ancient bronze spear from ancient Greece or Persia. It has a beautiful, leaf-shaped blade with a strong central rib. The tang is rectangular with a 90 degree bend at the end that is finished with a perfect round knob. The patina is a mix of light greens and browns. This is a near perfect example of an unusual weapon type. The length is roughly 25 cm and the weight is 92 grams. It is solid and stable and is in excellent condition.
