A thickbutted Danish neolithic axe dating to 3rd. mill BC.

The axe is polished on the sides. The shape is slightly asymmetrical, indicating that it might have been mounted as an adze.

The edge is sharp and could be used even today if mounted on a shaft.

Size is 15 cm - c. 6 inches.

Condition: Nearly superb with just i tiny chip to edge. Very nice grey / beige patina.

Unlike the typical amulet form, this small statuette was presented as a votive offering.

The light blue faience figure depicts the goddess Isis nursing her son, Horus.

She is seated on her throne resting her feet on an integral plinth, wearing a tripartite wig fronted by a uraeus, crowned by the throne hieroglyph.

Her son Horus is depicted nude while seated on her lap.

A tanged 'Luristan' bronze dagger from Ancient Near East, Caspian Sea Area, Bronze age, dating to 2nd mill BC.

The dagger with rounded shoulders, a short tang and central midrib. The top of the blade has two holes for fastening rivets.

Length: c. 26,5 cm.

Condition: Fine green patina with some roughness to the edges. The blade has a bend at the the tip, as seen on pictures.

An interesting selection of four Danish Neolithic axes, all dating to the 3rd. mill BC.

All axes are of the smaller, thinbladed type, that began to emerge and refine during the early 3rd mill. BC. Two axes / adzes with hollow edge and two nearly perfectly symmetrical. All are very nice examples of the neolithic toolbox.

Three axes come with old collection tags the one without has the finding date written (6/7 '38).

A superb and extra large tanged bronze lance, Ancient Near East, c. mid 2nd. mill. BC. Turkmenistan / Uzbekistan bronze age.

A very impressive and decorative bronze lance with a long, bent tang, massive socket and a broad, leaf-shaped blade with highly profiled midrib.

A beautiful lance that would have been highly efficient on combat.

A nicely decorated Indus Valley pottery beaker or cup, dating to c. 3rd mill. BC. Probably Mehrgarh-civilisation.

The vessel with high walls on a narrow base, painted zoomorphic motif of a cow and some geometrical patterns.

Tchahorpata wears a smooth wig, has his arms crossed on his chest and holds in his hands the tools, hoe and hand plow, as well as a string on which the bag with the seeds hangs on his back.
