Intriguing Daunian kyathos featuring an incurving shallow bowl and a handle that widens towards the top to form stylized horns, a tiny animal head inserted in between.
The cream-hued surface shows a delicate linear decoration, both on the handle and on the outside of the bowl.

A rare and massive octagonal Islamic tile in Blue & White ceramic material, probably stone-past, imitating Ming Dynasty, Near East, c. 15th.cent. AD
A huge tile with fine style floral decoration in blue and white. Unfortunately missing a bit and put together from three large pieces. The tile is measuring 26,5 cm. x 26 cm. so each of the pieces is basically as large as most tiles are!

A choice example of a of a large Wadj Sceptre in brown hardstone, with the stone aiming to imitate rolled papyrus.
The scroll is widest at the top, where there is a neck below the faux loop for suspension. The base tapers into a softened point. Such an amulet would have been for ritual buriel.
Size: c. 32 mm.
Condition: good very fine and intact.

This figure has nicely rendered facial features with original pigments of black, red and yellow remaining. The figure's hair has significant pigment remaining with a band around the head. One arm is missing and a partial portion of the right arm remains. The figure measures a large 4" in height and 2.75" in depth...
This is a socketed iron spear from the ancient middle east. This was part of a lot including Bactrian and Luristan artifacts. I do not have an exact cultural attribution for this piece but it is similar to pieces from northern iran in the early part of the first millenium BC. It is 39 cm long and weighs 316 grams. It is intact with no evidence of repair.

Upper part of the seated Isis nursing the Horus child (Harpokrates). The miniature scale head shows detailed facial features. The goddess wears the tripartite wig surmounted by a crown in the shape of the st-seat sign, the hieroglyphic sign used to write her name.
With her right hand she is presenting her left breast to her son, which is now lost.

A nice figure, Coptic, Egypt, 1st. century BC - 1st. century AD.
Attractive female idol carved from a hollowed-out bone. The face is dominated by huge, round eyes and a small nose and mouth. The artist has also carved a round belly and female genitals.

Fine quality bowl with four deeply impressed palmettes on the inside floor.
Bowl of rounded profile curving up sharply to a slightly incurved rim. Standing on a low rounded foot ring. Graffito of several incised lines below the foot.
Typical product of the “atelier des petites estampilles”; the characteristic shape and the single orientation of the stamps is the hallmark of this class which was introduced by Morel.

Large black-figure skyphos decorated with reclining men facing rams. Female attendants on either side walk away as they look back.
The men rest on mats, their elbows propped on pillows, three loaves of bread at their sides. The men are of different ages, the older one has a beard.
Both wear the petasos, the hat of travelers and farmers, and are dressed in a white chiton and a heavy himation decorated with red dots.
