The three points carved in hardstones and probably silex. They can probably be dated to the 2nd.-1st. millenium BC, but 1 could be much earlier. Very hard material and amazing that they could manage to make such refined artifacts of this size...

This is an incredible, extremely rare weapon from the Chu Culture and dates to the Warring States period (circa 400 BC). It is called a Pi and was used as both a spear and a sword (or dagger). This is one of the rarest weapon types from ancient China and you will not likely see another one like it anywhere at any price. Ancient Asian bronze is becoming rarer by the day. Interesting stoneaxe carved and polished from a finegrained red granite, possible for battleuse, 4th.-3rd. mill. BC.

This thinbutted type is quite scarce especially in the red granite and is likely belonging to the earlier neolithic period. Attempted drilling of a mounting holse at the bacvk as is often seen on the type.

A bronze sickle with three raised ribs to the outside of the curve and with the reverse flat, Germany, Early Bronzeage bronze sicle, c. 1800 BC. The interesting type with the large knob at the base.

Condition: Choice Very fine, intact with a nice glossy dark green patina and uncleaned deposits.

This is a large and impressive bronze axe dating to approximately 1200 BC. This piece comes from the famed collection of Axel Guttman in Berlin. It is decorated on both side with incised lines and circles. It measures roughly 26.5 cm in length and weigh 1160 grams. The original auction house tag will accompany the piece. A wonderfully patinated chisel, large and near mint condition, Danish Neolithic period 3rd. millenium BC.

Though some chisels are made as late as Daggertime just before the bronzeage, this unpolished attractive chisel was likely made during the Singlegrave period, 2800-2400 BC.

A finely detailed and attractive glazed steatite stone amulet of the Dwarf-god Bes, Egyptian Late period, 660-332 BC.

The figure depicted naked with tall headdress and a loop at the back, light glossy stone with remnants of green glaze in the devices.

An attractive large fishtail type of dagger, made in the late neolithic period, Daggertime-bronzeage, c. 2000-1600 BC.

A type with an elaborately knapped handle, stiched in the sides and full size for a grown hand. The blade chipped and resized in later periods. Looks originally like a type IV-V to us. Comes with with very old collection tags and another tag written directly in black ink - found at Sorø 1909!

This is a great example of a bronze dagger axe or ge. These weapons are unique to the ancient cultures of China and were in use throughout the bronze age. Characteristics of this piece suggest it would date to the Wester Zhou period (ca 700 BC) or possibly even earlier. It is small, with only two perforations for lashing to a pole. It weighs 179 grams. I have too many bronze arrowheads to post separately so here is another group. These are all from China and date from as early as the Western Zhou (circa 700 BC) to as late as the Han period (circa 200 BC). Each of these is a great specimen for collecting, for study, or both. This is a bronze dagger from the bactrian culture dating to roughly 200 BC. It is one of the oldest known types of bronze weapons. This one weighs 56 grams and is 192mm in length. It has some damage to the edges and point which should be visible in the photos. It has a very attractive patina and would look great in your ancient weapon collection.

A finely patinated large Danish Neolithic sicle, dating back to later neolithic period, ca. 2600-2200 B.C.

Wonderful sicle of a good size, measuring c. 14,5 cm. long and 4,6 cm. wide. Very broad and not crescentic. Nice workmanship have resulted in a thinbladed and exquisite flint artifact that will enhance most collections.
