This piece is part of a collection we are posting on the site. These are often misidentified as crossbow arrow ends. However, to our knowledge no such items have ever been found associated with crossbow bolts. These particular pieces went over the ends of the wooden ribs in large parasols. The protruding hooks put tension on the strings or straps that were attached to the skin of the parasol...

This is an absolutely amazing bronze sword from the Dong Son culture in ancient Southeast Asia. Pieces of this type are rarely discovered intact. It is very long (81.5 cm) and though it is thin and fragile it appears to be intact with no obvious signs of repair. It dates to roughly 300 BC. This is a marvelous opportunity to own a truly stunning antiquity.

I have too many bronze arrowheads to post separately so here is another group. These are all from China and date from as early as the Western Zhou (circa 700 BC) to as late as the Han period (circa 200 BC). Each of these is a great specimen for collecting, for study, or both. Inquire for individual prices. I will certainly sell them as a group at a discount - just email me with offers or requests.

This is a fine example of a plain bronze sword likely from Northwestern Iran, possible the Luristan culture. It dates to roughly 1000 BC. It measures an impressive 48 cm in length and weighs 356 grams. The only apparent damage is in what appears to be a broken tang. The break appears ancient as well. The rest of the sword is intact and stable. This is a good piece to add to your ancient weapon collection.

This magnificent bronze figure is a representation of the god Osiris, a revered figure in Ancient Egyptian mythology. This figure dates back to the Late Period, between the 7th and 4th centuries B.C. The figure depicts Osiris in his mummified form, wearing an impressive Atef crown adorned with the Uraeus, a symbol of royalty and divine power. His braided beard, which curves at the tip, is a symbol of his wisdom and agelessness. He holds the royal regalia Crock and Flail in his hands, which symbo...

You can see the rivets in the handle where it is attached to the blade. This is an excellent opportunity to add a truly unique sword to your collection.

This is a very unique bronze spear or lance point from the Amlash (or possibly Luristan) culture in ancient Iran(ca 2000 BC). It measures 132mm and weighs 48 grams. It has a fantastic malachite patina. It has four incised rings around the base of the blade and then remnants of two bronze rings which undoubtedly aided in the attachment of the point to a wooden shaft. It has some damage to the edges but is an incredible piece nonetheless.
