Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Qingbai Glazed Porcelain Covered Jar

This attractive small covered jar was made during the 13th / 14th Century (Song / Yuan Dynasty). It is quite "heavily-potted" for its type and is coated inside and out in a pale Qingbai-type glaze. The glaze falls short of the sturdy foot and the underside of the cover also remains unglazed. Set of 8 Chinese porcelain plates, each decorated in Kangxi style with a peacock standing in a landscape with its tail fanned out and encircled by an elaborate band with fan and lozenge shaped vignettes of blossoming and fruiting sprigs within diaper bands. All in excellent antique condition with very little wear to the enamels. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines. Measure 8.5" diameter x 1 high.

Early 19th century (1830s) Chinese Rose Medallion porcelain cup and matching saucer decorated in numerous colored enamels with scenes of birds and butterflies among flowers. A stunningly beautiful CHINESE IMPERIAL GREEN DRAGON, 5-Clawed Porcelain Dish. Guangxu (1875-1908) 6 Character reign marking and of the period, QING DYNASTY. The interior depicts a green dragon chasing the Pearl amidst flames. The reverse of the dish has 2 Green 5-clawed imperial Dragons chasing the Pearl and 6 underglazed Guangxu blue script characters reign mark. Good condition overall. Size: 17.5 cm. diameter.

A small Chinese export porcelain foo dog done in the Sancai colors of brown, green, and yellow. The dog is standing on a pedestal with a puppy under his left foot. The figurine is marked "CHINA" on it's flat base. The dog measures about 7 3/4" x 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" wide. The condition is excellent with thickly applied enamels.
