Lovely Chinese porcelain jar with a cheerful family scene. Enamels are rich and colorful. In excellent condition, no chips, no hairlines, no cracks. Measures 5 inches high, 5.5" diameter. Tongzhi, circa 1860
The interior of this dish is painted with a stylized dragon amid a concentric wave design, with the well having four elongated cloud designs. The underside has four “ruyi” fungus and a rectangular character in underglaze blue in the center. It is raised on a low foot, the base of which is not glazed, and the dense, white porcelain body is exposed. A few small pin pricks in the glaze, typical of older wares, are seen in the glaze here and there...
The interior of this dish is decorated with a pair of phoenix birds in flight. The underside has four “ruyi” fungus in underglaze blue and an underglaze blue single character mark is painted on the center of the base. It is raised on a low footring, the base of which is unglazed exposing the dense, white porcelain body. There are some small pinhole glaze pricks with some darkening that is typical of older porcelain wares...
The base with a moulded flower pattern in a roundel, the sides with an incised linear design ending in an upright standing rim, covered all over in an attractive olive-green glaze except for the unglazed area at the underside which has burnt orange in the firing.

A rare Chinese blue and white jar from Yuan dynasty, decorated with freely-drawn chrysanthemum scroll. This small jar has elegant shape and covered with even crackle glaze and nice deep cobalt blue color. Mouth rim with tiny dent (tool mark) but covered with glaze.No repair, no chip and no crack.
Ivory lid and wooden base not included.

A chinese porcelain dish finely painted in famille rose enamels and gilt with 4 carp swimming amongst weeds within floral borders.
Dating from the early Qianlong period (1736-96), it measures 8 7/8inches (22.6cms) across.
There is a small frit and a minute bubble burst to the rim. It is in otherwise very good condition.
A Ming dynasty 15th century blue and white bowl, decorated with petals pattern rising from foot, waves band border to mouth rim. Inside center with a head of lotus within double circle. Condition with a chip to inner rim and associated hairline, also the foot rim has chips, otherwise is good condition. Ming Chenghua period. Diameter: 14.1cm and Height: 6.8cm.
A Chinese celestial globe vase with sky blue glaze from the 19th century Qing dynasty. Very good antique condition. No chip, crack, no repair. 10" tall. A trace of Chinese Custom wax seal on foot rim. Possibly exported in 1970's by the Chinese government for foreign currency. Provenance: from an old Chicago collection, purchased in 1970's. Very good real antique for home decoration.
