The bottle exceptionally well carved and decorated with floral scrolls in a very rare piece of super hard Quartz with golden hair / flex. The stopper original and carved in the same stone.

19th century Chinese snuff dish in a shape of a round saucer with gently concave surface, decorated on the outside with designs seen on ancient Chinese bronzes. Beautiful patina, old age lines, wonderful feel of age. Diameter 1 5/16 inches.
Well hollowed shadow agate snuff bottle, of classical shape, with a "tao tie" mask in relief on each shoulder. The stopper is made of coral, turquoise and silver with a felt base. Circa 1870s hand carved and highly polished rock crystal and purple amethyst snuff bottle. Carved in good medium relief is a maiden carrying a poled basket with reverse having a flycatcher in the lower right corner amongst a landscape (but it is very hard to make out due to the sheen). In excellent condition, the bottle measures 2 7/8" high and 1 3/4" wide.
