A bowl with rounded side, decorated at the exterior with an all over pattern of a white on blue Crane among Lotus pattern. Late Ming 17th century Fujian Zhangzhou ware or they called it Swatow family. Condition is perfect without any restoration, no chip and no any damaged crack except minor kiln flaw and some firing imperfection short cracks . Diameter: 15 cm and High: 7 cm.

An unusual Chinese amethyst covered vase, carved with squirrel amongst fruiting vines ,with the sides showing bunches of grapes. The cover is carved in detail with a laughing, mischievous boy holding some of the fruit. The vase stands on a separate base which is formed to resemble a rock. DESCRIPTION: A Jin Dynasty (1115-1234 AD) pot / container decorated with a luscious, thick black and brown glaze over a bulbous, ribbed body. Two strap handles are attached to both sides of the short neck below the flared rim. Overall very good condition with small repair to rim. DIMENSIONS: 9 ½” high (24 cm) x 8 1/2” diameter (21.5 cm).

A well balance potted Qingbai vase. Of unusual shape, pear-shaped body, with a gently flaring neck flanked by small moulded handles, supported on a tall foot, with a moulded flattened section emanating from the middle of the foot, the body applied on one side with a raised decoration of a flower spray, covered overall in a greenish white glaze. Song dynasty 12th-13th century in perfect condition. Height: 14.6cm.

Song Dynasty Green Glaze jarlet with two ears...in very good condition without cracks or chips, some wear in terms of scratches...small points of imperfection in glaze at time of firing. Floral pattern around top portion of jarlet and scrolling pattern around lower portion at the base. Diameter: 2 and half inches, height 2 inches.

Very nice early Ming "deep" bowled plate with a thick light green crackled glaze. In very good condition without any chips. Good symmetry overall. Diameter: 10 inches, height is 2 and half inches.

 

 

Large Song Celadon bowl, olive green in color. In very good condition without chips or cracks. There is an incised flower pattern in the bottom of the bowl. Otherwise, small fritting /granulation is evident in the bottom of the bowl and a couple of these may have been compromised/worn down. Nice overall symmetrical shape and crackle in the glaze is quite faint. Diameter: 7 plus inches and 3 inches in height.

Earthenware kendi with elegant shape, flat base. MEASUREMENT : 26 cm height, 28 cm wide. PERIOD : Tang Dynasty (618-906 AD) CONDITION: Small chips on the spout, no cracks or hairlines and free from restorations.
