This is a CHINESE WINE VESSEL or KENDI in the form of a DUCK. This Porcelain DUCK has an Unusual TURQUOISE GLAZE and dates circa 1850 to 1875. Size is 5 1/4" X 7 1/2" not including Stand. No marks. From a Washington D.C. area suburb. The Condition is Excellent

It is 23.1 inches (58.7 cm) tall by 9 inches (22.8 cm) wide. It is 16 Lb.

It has rubbing of paint and gold, skip glazes, stains, firing cracks at the bottom, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Antique Chinese dark hardwood imperial throne (possibly zitan) with elaborate carvings of dragons, its backrest comprised of three carved panels of dragons with pierced smoke motif, carved smoke headrest, pierced panels with dragons in each armrest, detailed carving along the seat's underside, claw-shaped feet emerging from beast's mouths. Size: 40.5" height, 28" width, 25" depth

Beautiful antique Chinese porcelain pair of roosters with polychrome glaze. Very nice incised detail. Created in a naturalistic style. Each rooster stands on one foot with the other raised close to its body atop a brown glazed tree trunk. Age: Qing Dynasty (18th century - 19th century) Size: 15.5" height x 9.5" length.

Length approximately 11.5 (across the handles). 2 (two) soft dents at the body. In good condition.

The metal bowl of this traditional old bronze Chinese spoon is heavily patinated from extensive use and was probably used for heating maybe opium.

An interesting Chinese agate of two conjoined snuff bottles. The stone is translucent greyish with a few darker hints, it is very well hollowed and in excellent condition. Age: 19 C. size: 2 inches (5cm) high

 

The Zhuang are one of the larger of the Chinese Ethnic Minority groups. This is a rare old baby carrier from Yunnan Province. Because silk was not readily available in the rural areas, the use of silk as the background fabric indicates that this carrier came from a wealthy family. The central panel uses several colors of fabric appliqued into a large stylized lotus flower. Silk thread is used for the delicate satin stitched embroidery of butterflies and flowers...

A Chinese Bronze Censer, Qing Dynasty. Diameter approximately 10.2 cm. There is a 7 mm hairline at the rim. In good condition.

There are a total of eight signs, each with a different "saying" having to do with well wishes. Due to the age of the calligraphy, and the vagueres of the old Chinese language, accurate translations have not been possible for each sign. Each sign is carved out of wood with raised wooden characters and inlayed with MOP flakes. Each is 21 inches tall and roughly 4.5 inches wide. Globular Jar of Tang dynasty with 4 lugs covered by celadon glaze like leopard skin . 38 cm high and 34 cm wide . Very good condition even if the chip is very ketch below the mouth rim , no hairlines or cracks and free from restorations .

This is the sung dynasty twin fish celadon brush washer saucer, it has the typical crackle of Quan type glaze feel/colour but i erred that it is Quan yao washer. It is nice rare piece but small repaired rim on the reverse with gold leafs.....
