Individual wooden table with such unique decorative carving made in Haeju (around Pyongyang of today) in Korean Peninsula, early 20th century, approx. 43 x 32.8 x H 27cm (16.92 x 12.91 x 10.62in).
Handy lightweight structure as easy carrying and storing. In good condition, with some expected sign of use and repair at one leg (see photo#8) as is as seen.

Korean antique shell inlaid black lacquer ichung nong stacking chest in 3 sections on a footed base. Exquisitely decorated all over with ornate scenes of birds, animals and flowers. The uppermost section has four small drawers across the top. Each of the three sections has a large compartment opened by two door panels. The interior of each section is beautifully lined in paper and has sliding black lacquer panels to hold in it's contents...
Antique Korean Bandaji known as a blanket storage trunk, made of a heavy Red Pine wood with a deep rich original patina. A single door is hinged horizontally and opens downward to reveal a large compartment for storage. Though these trunks were used for storage of household items, bedding was usually folded and placed on top, thus giving them the name blanket storage trunk.

19th Century Korean Hat Box made entirely of Exotic Paulownia (Odong-namu) Wood, from the collection of a French diplomat stationed in Korea in the 1950s. Paulownia is very desirable for collectors because of its beautiful wide grain, light weight, and fire and bug-resistant qualities. The paulownia used for this rare hat box is especially fine. 9.5 x 9.5 x 8.5 (height) inches, 24 x 24 x 21.5 cm.
A Korean lacquered box used to hold the ink stone and writing implements that were used during the Joseon Dynasty. Such a box was made by and for the common man or farmer and is a good example of Korean Folk Art. The box's lid fits over an inner tray where the ink stone and water dropper were kept. Below the tray would be stored ink sticks, paper and brushes. The box's finish is the original dark red lacquer, and the iron nails and straps are also original and hand made...

An individual eating table for serving the meal of the day or drinks and treats to your guests. This table measures about 11" high x 16 1/2" in diameter, and dates to the late Joseon Dynasty. The table has a solid, heavy, carved twelve sided, hardwood top (elm), and a softer wood (like ginkgo) was used for the supporting structures, legs and stretchers. Korean 19th Century Joseon Dynasty heavy Elm Wood Coin Chest with Black Iron mounted, Ca. 1860 to 1887, 37" Wide, 19" Deep, 14" high, heavy thick bold grain Elm Wood and Black Iron mounted plus dovetailed each front and back bottom section and also both sides, with hinged Black Iron wooden top, lift up the top to open. One Board thick Elmwood used on each side, front, back and both sides. Half moon shape black iron handles on top of the flower shape backplates on both sides.

A lovely unusual Korean wood soban tray table featuring a round top with a scalloped edge. The table has decorative apron and strong tiger legs that taper to thin ankles.
