A Korean whitish brass incense burner with cover that was used during family Confucian ceremonies. The lid is cut with the eight diagrams which will give the owner protection from misfortune and assure prosperity and happiness. The burner measure about 7 1/2" high x 4 3/4" in diameter, and dates to the end of the Yi Dynasty. Condition: The Condition is excellent. A Goryeo dynasty Korean bronze bottle with good green patina, 13th century. It measures 33cm high X about 17cm diameter, or 13 inches X 6 3/4 inches. It is unbroken, but has two small old lead repairs visible in the images. There are two shallow dents in the body, one below a light scrape mark extending down from the neck base. A closely related example is illustrated in plate 1 of "Metal Works & Ceramics of Koryo Dynasty Korea", Museum of Oriental Ceramics, Osaka, 1991...

All three are beautiful examples of each time period, with wonderful forms and great patinas. Width and height, starting from the oldest (right to left): 6 x 4 inches (15.25 x 10 cm), 7 x 4 inches (17.75 x 10 cm), 5.5 x 4.5 inches (14 x 11.5 cm).
Antique bronze belt buckle coated with copper oxide encrustation in the shape of a Standing horse, dating to the three Kingdoms of Korea (57 AD to 668 AD) or Chinese Han dynasty (206 BC to 220 AD).
