Antique Southeast Asian inlaid bronze box with interior compartments. The exterior of the box is beautifully inlaid with damascene silver in oxidized bronze. There are rounded handles on each side. The box opens to three covered compartments, one large central compartment and two small side compartments. Period 17th century. It measures 7.5" by 3" deep by 3.5" tall.

A Korean spun bronze bowl from the late Koryo Dynasty or early Yi Dynasty, 13th/14th Century. The bowl measures 6 1/4" in diameter x 3 1/4" high. Condition: The bowl is in good condition, is about 600 years old, and has a greenish/gray patina due to burial. It is solid with little corrosion, and it sounds as a gong when struck. A small Korean cast bronze hand mirror dating to the Koryo Dynasty. At the center of the back there is a raised knob, with a hole, through which would have passed a holding cord. The design on the back is called the "the Dragon and the Tiger". A similar mirror with this same design is in the Ewa Women's University Museum (Item 130, Special Exhibition catalog, May 1972).
