A large Yuan 13th - 14th century longquan celadon dish, rounded side with flattened rim and deep center, decorate with large dragon motif at the center, inner wall decorate with carved weave motif, outer wall decorate with raised lotus petal motif, covered with green glaze. Very condition with a small chip on the rim and diffrent colour for some area. Size: 38 cm diameter.

Musha Ningyo of Minamoto no Yoshitsune dressed for the Imperial Court. He is wearing a fantastic brocade robe and a spectacular court hat. This wonderful rare example of high quality has a great presence, sumptuous brocades, gold lacquered armor, and many other fine details. His face is gorgeously and masterfully carved with finely burnished gofun (white clam shell lacquer). An extraordinary example. Height: 22.5 inches, 57 cm.

Description: A long neck yellow-glazed bottle vase was mold in elegant shape.
Decorated on the shoulder with lotus petals in vivid curves, the bottle was well proportioned and stand by a flat bottom.
Having been through thousands of years under earth, the surface was spread immensely with fine crackles and some stains.
The condition was very good with the least abrasions.

An elaborate finely moulded "Blanc de Chine" figure group with elaborate applied decoration. This item was made in the Dehua kilns, Fujian province, south China circa 1890-1910. Condition - there has been a clean break to the back of the hand holding the staff on the male figure (see enlargement no. 5) and what appears to be an underglaze firing crack to the hand of the lady (enlargement no. 7) - otherwise excellent, no chips and no restoration...

Black lacquered double door zushi portable shrine opening to a well-carved and polychrome painted image of Jizo Bodhisattva, sitting in repose on a lotus throne, his hand holding a staff with sacred rings, framed by a gilt metal mandorla. Accompanied by two attendants in a rocky grotto setting. Size:14.5"W closed, 29"W open x 11.5" D x 20"H. Edo Period, circa pre 1850s.

A Chinese carved cinnabar lacquer vase (converted into a lamp) decorated with four shaped panels of scholars on a mountainous landscape, the background with scrolling floral borders and motifs.
