Antique, 18th-19th century, Indo-Persian, Islamic rare divination bowl, also called Magic Bowl or Medicinal bowl. The bowl is made of turned and hand-finished cast brass of typical rounded form, with an averted rim pierced with a small hole, allowing a suspension cord to be fitted. The center of the bowl has a tapering central boss amongst Arabic writing. The inner surface is decorated with talismanic and Koranic symbols in Arabic writings, with three Mihrab and six paisley (boteh) form panels...

A repoussed Persian copper bowl of squatted round form. The etched and engraved decoration comprising calligraphy cartouches, a band with split palmettes and flower heads and figures at leisure. Condition: some traces of usage. Dimension: diameter: 13.5 cm, 7.4 cm high.

Antique 18th-19th century ottoman Islamic brass Qibla indicator and sundial, of round form, and affix with suspension ring. The face engraved with toponyms in Arabic and zodiac symbols. The sundial component is mounted with the folded triangle - form gnomen and a swiveling pin.

This compass and sundial was used by the Muslim faithful to locate qibla, or sacred direction towards the Ka'aba in Mecca for sholat (prayers)...

A broad, slightly curved, double-edged iron blade formed with a pronounced medial ridge on each side, the shaped silver hilt finely repousse and engraved with chevrons decorated with filigree work and adorned with large pyramidal shaped protrusions.

A pair of antique, 19th century, Islamic Turkish Ottoman stirrups of characteristic form. They are made of brass and have a curved base plate flanked by flat sides that rise to an arch and finish with a loop. The stirrups are decorated in openwork with typical Ottoman neo-rococo style motifs. The base plate is cut in an elaborate cartouche surrounded by acanthus scrolls.

The silver is marked 800, indicating its grade, and has an elaborate finial in the shape of a crown. The finial is adorned with Islamic symbols, including a crescent moon and a star.
