A pair of antique, 18th century or early 19th century. Turkish Ottoman Islamic embroidered velvet noble lady's heeled shoes with pointed toes.

Crimson silk velvet upper, finely hand embroidered with gold metallic thread and bullion with elaborate floral designs - typical Ottoman Dival embroidery. Thick leather sole and gold lacquered curved wooden heels.

Each leather sole is stamped with the Arabic number 39 and above with the European number 39 (for European buyers)...
