This is a rare example of an early pigeon blood cloisonne vase. It's also quite an attractive old piece. There is no embossed red translucent background like the common pieces but there is substantial amounts of silver wire and enamel work. The vase is also a unique wide shape being 7 1/4 tall and 4 1/2 inches wide. The rims are silver and unmarked. Condition is excellent with a small bit of discoloration in the translucent red enamel. This is shown in the images.

A rare and exquisite of Early Qing Dynasty 18th century Guan type tripod censer standing on three animal legs, covered overall with grayish celadon with unglazed crackled pattern. Condition is perfect, no any chip, no any crack and free from any restoration. Diameter: 11,1 cm and Height: 7,7 cm.

Jûbako picnic box made of paulownia wood and shaped like a paulownia flower. It is composed of three compartments with the interior in red lacquer.

With its original box with several inscriptions, included the datation "- 2nd year of Kaei era", namely 1848

A Korean Fine Blue and White Han River Painted Water Dropper-19th C. : Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century The rectangular slab-sided water dropper set on four raised feet, decorated in underglaze blue and white with a Han River scene, the sides with abstract design beneath a clear white glaze. Kiln grit on the base. It’s small chips repaired on edges. Measurements; 7.5cm x 4cm h.

A nicely decorated Japanese porcelain Satsuma bowl, with scalloped edge, showing groups of women and men and Buddhist Monks. The bowl is marked Meiji period (1868-1912, and gives the makers' name as being "Kinkozan". The bowl measures about 2" high x 4 3/4" in diameter, and the condition is excellent. Very rare Khmer black lacquer “pillow box” with an abstract floral pattern. This is an old pre Khmer Rouge item, dating 50 to 60 years old, possibly more. The unique decoration makes this a one of a kind piece, the construction is typically Cambodian, in that it is constructed with thin small planks of wood and is coated with raw lacquer on the bottom, and this was sourced in the “Russian Market” about 15 years ago in Phnom Phenh...

Beautifully decorated book cover, of very refined gilded hammered copper on wood, with, on one side, two dragons with the "Ratna", or "Mani" (the Jewel of the Buddhist doctrine) in the middle, surrounded by stylised cloud motifs and framed in lotus design. On the other side, three handpainted Buddhist figures representing Manjushri, Chenresig and the Mahakala. These paintings have withstood the test of time a little less well than the front side...

This Olmec translucent jade figure is 1 7/8" long. The bottom was broken off in antiquity which allows one to peer into its ancient patina and jade composition and also keeps the price affordable. The drill hole is original which is important as it is the best place to look at for authenticity. I had a jeweler install a modern 14K gold loop so I could wear it. It has excellent provenance which goes to the buyer.

A good Arta dish of awabigata form decorated in somenishikide style with a pattern of various shellfish and plants with a seascape of waves and plovers above. A brocade band of Karakusa scroll in iron red and gilt inset in a “pea green” enamel ground framing the composition combined with gilding to rim. The exterior painted with waves and boats...

18th century or earlier Indian bronze votive sculpture of standingmale figure with a dagger and a a lingam in his hands. I believe the image to be a rare 2-armed form of Govinda Bhairava, who is a syncretic form of Vishnu and Shiva. Wonderful casting, great detailing of his clothes and jewelry, beautiful devotional wear, excellent patina. Height 4 3/4 inches.

19th Century Meiji Period Japanese Hai Hai Ningyô lying on a beautiful Shibori silk pillow. The Hai Hai is the rarest of the Gosho form. They are presented in the upper class as a birth presentation gift to protect against bad spirits. This charming example has a Chomusubi (gift ribbon) on his head. 7.5 inches (19cm) long x 4 inches (10cm) high. Excellent Condition.
