Antique Japanese dark green bronze suiban on four elephants head legs. Ribbed sides with kanji in raised relief (Good Fortune Fuku or Good Fortune) on sides. Key fret design on rim. Signature etched with three characters on bottom, "Tōryūshū".

Japanese lacquer kogo incense container in Korin-style with rabbits gazing at the moon. One rabbit made of quail egg mosaic and the other of silvered lacquer sitting in the reeds. Square shaped container with mitered corners. Top with silvered moon. Tomobako with typed old labeling.

A Very Fine/Rare Beautiful Evenly White Glazed Porcelain Korean Bowl: Korea, early Joseon period, 18th-19th century, with fitted wooden box. The characteristic deep bowl with a flat interior bottom and recessed well set on a ring foot and with gently everted rim, the base glazed, decorated evenly with a beautiful light blue tinged white glaze, . It’s in very fine condition. it measures 3.5” h. x 6” d. (8.9 cm x 15.3 cm).

The deep bowl on short raised ring foot with everted rim, decorated in inlaid white slip with a central medallion of floral heads surrounded by a narrow band of stylized flower petals, a wide band of “rope curtain” design, the exterior decorated en suite beneath a pale brown celadon glaze. An antique Chinese day bed made of Jumu (Elm) and woven rattan. Beautiful inset Marble behind auspicious carved symbols with a round medallion at the front end of the neck rest. The underside of the bed has a woven jute webbing used to support the rattan bed above. Two opposing drawers with bronze chrysanthemum backed pulls highlight the decorative wood carving front and center.

An antique Japanese 2 section tall Kyoto Kasane Tansu (stacking chest on chest) made of Keyaki (Zelkova), Kirinoki (Paulownia) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria) woods. All iron fittings are original and hand made. Two sliding Keyaki doors the top section open to a spacious storage area behind while a hinged door on the lower section opens to two small drawers.

Straight dovetail joinery construction using hardened wooden nails. Tansu of this configuration have become rare to find in Japan...

Antique Indian Yantra. Double sided. Red and black ink on thin paper. 30x26.5 cm. Tape stains in corner, creases and tears. Undated, estimated to be 19th century or earlier. Can be viewed in central London and shipped worldwide.
