This tea cup and saucer was produced in Chicago by a studio artist around 1910. There is a factory stamp that is smudged but we believe that the signature is one from the Pickard era. The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 inches high. The blank for this cup and saucer was manufactured by Haviland, Limoges, France. The cup has three ball feet. The artist, Edward Tyrrel, signed both pieces. Both pieces are nicely painted with wild roses. They are trimmed with gildin... Click for details

Featuring an 8" scalloped all hand painted plate with ornate fancy brushed gold boarder, and a spray of goose berries and leaves. Exquisitely painted, this was a fashionable craft for talented ladies to do in the United States at the turn of the 20th century. The artist's initials are seen at the base of the branch,"I.M.H." and on the reverse, the initial "H". There is no maker's mark for the type of porcelain it is, which is surprising, but it is obviously a Limoges blank as the china is very... Click for details
