This tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Wedgwood around 1910. The saucer is 5 5/8 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 inches high. The cup has a typically elegant shape. A border of cobalt blue is enhanced with lacy gilding. There are tiny roses framed in gilded leaves circling the center of the cup and saucer. Having a cup of tea will be an elegant affair using this fine cup and saucer. It is in excellent condition.

This tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Brown, Westhead, & Moore around 1870. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The bone china is fine and white. The cup has a pedestal base and a handle formed as a braided rope. Monochrome trophy ornaments are transfer decorated on both pieces. The rims of the cup and saucer as well as the handle have heavy gold trim. This handsome tea cup and saucer is in excellent condition.

The cup has an interesting shape with a splayed foot and a graceful handle extending over the top of the cup. The porcelain is very fine quality white bone china. Eighteenth Century Creamware compote, Liverpool birds, likely printed by Sadler & Green of Liverpool, lobed with four subtly defined compartments, each division with fine foliage detailing on the rim and molded florets between. The foot rim has with the same detailing, the pierced pattern in the base suggesting a fruit compote or perhaps a drainer. 9.5” x 8”.
